Truly great words of wisdom. I used to do that when I was younger. I would pick two or three words every couple of days and incorporate them into sentences, just as I did when I was in school. What you do not use, you lose.
I have always sought to educate myself to the best of my ability so that I could become more than what I was. I still continue the process by seeking to understand things/concepts outside my norm and deeper inside myself.
The goal of life is to seek to be more than you are and to continually grow in understandings so that you can have a more harmonious life with all people and a balanced relationship between the material and the spiritual, in the sense of having what you need in the way of material possessions and acquisitions and seeking a greater understanding of Self.
This is achieved through the energy of curiosity. Curiosity leads to having a broader, greater mind … one that is able to discern the subtleties of life and Self and come to understandings so that better communication can be had with everyone you come into contact with.
Dictionaries are filled with portals that can take you to many different levels of knowledge and application. The definition of words can be so broad when you expand your thought “possibilities” processes. Too often we use the most common and convenient definition of a word in our listening and we miss a great deal of information that could help you make good verbal responses and mental decisions that arise from those conversations.
The more you know, the more you grow.
